Challenge: The challenge was to design paper cups packaging for a Mr. Coffee that not only captured the essence of Saudi culture but also reflected a contemporary and inclusive identity. The goal was to incorporate the iconic Ghutra, symbolizing tradition, while introducing a brand-owned character named Mr. Coffee to establish a unique and memorable presence.

Solution: In response to the challenge, I conceptualized a packaging design that prominently featured the Ghutra, symbolizing Saudi heritage. To infuse a distinctive identity, I introduced Mr. Coffee, a brand-owned character, as the focal point of the design. This character served as a key element across all branded materials, adding a touch of personality and creating a cohesive visual representation for the cafe.
Recognizing the importance of inclusivity, I went a step further by creating both Male and Female variations. This decision not only contributed to the broader appeal of the brand but also reflected a commitment to diversity and inclusiveness.

Result: The result of this creative endeavor is a paper cups packaging that goes beyond its functional role. Adorned with the Ghutra and featuring the charismatic Mr. Coffee character, the packaging successfully captures the contemporary definition of Saudi Arabia – modern, enlightened, and rooted in tradition. The inclusivity showcased through both Male and Female variations of Mr. Coffee further establishes a welcoming and diverse brand image. Overall, the packaging serves as a tangible expression of the brand's identity, creating a memorable and culturally resonant experience for customers.
